Christmas lights aren’t just for the holiday season.

Get more out of them by stringing them across your outdoor entertaining space or wrapping them around tree trunks. This creates a festive ambiance any time of  year.

My patio is not very well lit and the easy solution was to string these bistro lights, which I found at Target nearly 5 years ago. (The only time they’ve come down was when hurricane Ike roared through Houston several year ago.) I love the warm glow they throw off.

Now that Spring is here there are various interpretations of strung patio lights on the market. And the time is now to spiff up your porch, patio or lawn.  So move the party outside and have some fun!
