- 2 Tblsp unsweetened cocoa
- 2 Tblsp water
- pinch salt
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1 Tblsp agave nectar
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- pinch cayenne (optional)
- In a sauce pan over medium heat, whisk together the cocoa, water and pinch of salt until the mixture is smooth.
- Whisk in milk until blended. Add agave nectar, vanilla and cayenne until mixture barely reaches a simmer.
- Pour into a mug (or two espresso cups) and enjoy this spicy, satisfying treat.
