Culinary Thymes Healthy Hot Cocoa

Ingredients
  • 2 Tblsp unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 Tblsp water
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1 Tblsp agave nectar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch cayenne (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a sauce pan over medium heat, whisk together the cocoa, water and pinch of salt until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Whisk in milk until blended. Add agave nectar, vanilla and cayenne until mixture barely reaches a simmer.
  3. Pour into a mug (or two espresso cups) and enjoy this spicy, satisfying treat.
